Blood test could replace colonoscopy for cancer screening?

NCT ID NCT07046585

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study is testing a new blood test from Natera to see how well it can detect colorectal cancer and advanced growths in people at average risk. About 25,000 adults aged 40 and older who are already scheduled for a colonoscopy will give a blood sample. The results will be compared to what the colonoscopy finds to measure the test's accuracy.
