First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at whether offering personalized financial navigation alongside standard care can lower the financial stress (called financial toxicity) felt by adults aged 18-64 who are being treated for acute myeloid leukemia. About 120 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either standard financial distress support or extra help from a financial navigator. The main goal is to see if the extra navigation leads to better financial well-being and quality of life six months after starting the study.
