Can financial guidance ease the burden of cancer treatment costs?

Summary
This study aims to see if providing structured financial guidance to people newly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) can reduce the money-related stress of treatment and improve their overall health and quality of life. It will involve 120 adult participants who are receiving intensive chemotherapy. The study will compare outcomes between those who receive standard support and those who get extra help from a financial navigator.
