First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special blood filter (oXiris) works better than a standard filter (M100) for people with pneumonia who also develop acute kidney injury. About 60 adults will be enrolled to see which filter reduces inflammation and improves survival over 28 days. The goal is to find a safer, more effective way to clean the blood during kidney failure.
