New arthritis drug tested in kids for first time

Summary

This study is testing a medication called filgotinib in children and teenagers with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). The main goals are to see how the drug behaves in the body, if it's safe, and if kids can tolerate it. It's an early-phase study for children aged 8 to 18 whose current treatments aren't working well enough.
