New burn dressing could speed healing and cut pain

Summary

This study compares a new wound dressing called Field Shield to standard burn dressings in people with large second-degree burns. About 40 adults with burns covering 5-30% of their body will be enrolled. The goal is to see if the new dressing helps wounds close faster, causes less pain, and reduces infections.
