Liver scanner accuracy put to the test
NCT ID NCT06877026
First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study checked how consistent FibroScan results are when different people use the device on different days. 108 adults with fatty liver or alcohol-related liver disease had multiple scans and blood tests. The goal was to see if a newer guided version of the test gives more reliable results than the standard one. No treatment was given, so this research helps doctors trust the tool for monitoring liver health.
