Scientists probe link between overthinking and fibromyalgia pain
NCT ID NCT03133455
Summary
This study aimed to better understand the link between repetitive negative thinking (called rumination) and the emotional symptoms often experienced by people with fibromyalgia. Researchers enrolled 107 French-speaking adults diagnosed with fibromyalgia. The main goal was to explore this connection by having participants complete questionnaires, without testing a new treatment.
