Summary
This study tested whether adding cognitive behavior therapy (a type of talk therapy) to standard physical therapy helps adults with fibromyalgia feel less pain and have a better quality of life. 66 adults with fibromyalgia took part. The goal was to see if the combined approach works better than physical therapy alone.
