Summary
This study tested whether adding cognitive behavioral therapy (a type of talk therapy) to standard physical therapy works better for managing fibromyalgia. It involved 66 adults with fibromyalgia who were split into two groups to compare the two treatment approaches. The main goal was to see which combination better reduced pain and improved patients' overall quality of life.
