Surgery for common Women's condition may ease urinary symptoms
NCT ID NCT07180524
Summary
This study aims to understand how two common surgeries for uterine fibroids affect pelvic floor symptoms like urinary urgency and incontinence. Researchers will follow 200 women who have either a hysterectomy (removing the uterus) or a myomectomy (removing only the fibroids). They will compare changes in symptoms and pelvic anatomy over one year after surgery to see which approach provides better relief.
