Could a simple fiber drink help kids breathe easier?
NCT ID NCT06372249
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a soluble fiber supplement to the diet can help children better manage their asthma. Researchers will give 105 kids either the fiber supplement or a placebo powder to mix into drinks for about a month. They will check if the fiber changes gut bacteria and reduces asthma symptoms to see if diet changes could be a new way to control asthma.
