Scientists hunt hidden germs behind Cambodia's fevers
NCT ID NCT04034264
Summary
This study aims to discover what germs are causing fevers in Cambodia, especially diseases spread by insects like mosquitoes and ticks. Researchers will enroll up to 6,500 people, from infants to adults, who have a fever or are close contacts of someone with a specific infection. They will use advanced lab tests on blood and nasal swabs to identify the pathogens, helping to map the landscape of fever-causing illnesses in the region.
