Can a simple leaflet stop unnecessary ER trips for Kids' fevers?

NCT ID NCT04925401

Summary

This study tested whether giving parents an information leaflet about fever while waiting in a pediatric emergency room improved their knowledge compared to a standard visit. Researchers enrolled 220 parents of children with fever to see if the leaflet helped them better understand when to use medication and when a fever truly requires emergency care. The goal was to see if better information could reduce parent stress and unnecessary emergency room visits for common childhood fevers.
