New wireless patch aims to track Baby's health during birth

NCT ID NCT05263427

Summary

This study tested a new wireless patch placed on a mother's belly during labor. The goal was to see if it could accurately measure the baby's heart rate and the mother's contractions, comparing it to the standard hospital monitor. It involved 60 women in labor with single, head-down babies to check if the new device works as well as current equipment.
