Doctors seek crystal ball for Babies' broken hearts
NCT ID NCT07095829
Summary
This study aims to create a better tool to predict the future heart health of babies diagnosed before birth with a rare heart defect called pulmonary atresia. Researchers will observe 150 pregnancies to see which ultrasound measurements best forecast whether a baby will need major heart surgeries or a transplant in their first two years of life. The goal is to give families and doctors clearer information to help plan care.
