Magnetic heart test could spot fetal rhythm problems
NCT ID NCT03047161
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study is testing a new, non-invasive tool called fetal magnetocardiography (fMCG) to better monitor the heart rhythms of babies in the womb. Current methods like ultrasound have limits, and fMCG may provide clearer information. The study will include up to 450 pregnant women with either normal or complicated pregnancies to see how well this technique works.
