Summary

This study tested whether adding electrical stimulation to stationary cycling helps stroke survivors with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a painful arm condition. 40 participants received either standard rehab or standard rehab plus 20 sessions of FES-assisted cycling. Researchers measured pain, swelling, function, and quality of life at 4 and 12 weeks to see if the electrical stimulation provided extra benefits.
