New IVF drug trial offers hope for women with rare hormone deficiency

Summary
This study is testing whether a new combination of two fertility hormones works better and is as safe as the standard treatment for Japanese women who lack specific hormones needed for egg development. About 333 women who need help getting pregnant through IVF will receive either the new drug or the standard one to see which leads to more eggs and successful pregnancies. The goal is to provide a better treatment option for women with this specific hormonal condition.
