Frozen testicle tissue may restore fertility in cancer survivors
NCT ID NCT07542626
First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether testicular tissue frozen before puberty can be transplanted back into adult men who are infertile after cancer treatment. About 20 men who had gonadotoxic therapy as children and now have no sperm will receive their own stored tissue. Doctors will check if the graft produces sperm and hormones, and if that sperm can be used for IVF.
