Frozen tissue could help infertile men father children

NCT ID NCT07364409

Summary

This study is testing whether frozen testicular tissue can be transplanted back into men to restore sperm production. Five healthy adult men who already have children will have small tissue samples frozen during routine surgery, then transplanted back under their skin months later. Researchers will check if the transplanted tissue can produce healthy sperm, which could help develop future treatments for men who become infertile due to cancer treatments or other conditions.
