Scientists track hormone journey in women to improve fertility treatments

NCT ID NCT06659692

Summary

This study aimed to understand how the body absorbs and processes two specific fertility hormones (FSH and hCG) when given as daily injections under the skin. It involved 28 healthy women of childbearing age who were already using birth control pills. The main goal was to measure hormone levels in the blood over time to see how quickly and how much of the drug the body takes in, which helps researchers understand how these medications work.
