Ancient spice put to the test for modern health problems
NCT ID NCT07056712
Summary
This study is testing whether taking fenugreek seed extract can help improve the multiple health issues that make up metabolic syndrome, such as high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and unhealthy cholesterol levels. Researchers will compare the effects of the fenugreek supplement against a placebo in 28 adults with metabolic syndrome over 12 weeks. The goal is to see if this common spice can help control the condition by improving how the body uses insulin and manages key health markers.
