Dravet drug trial halted early – only 7 adults enrolled
NCT ID NCT05560282
First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested the drug fenfluramine (FINTEPLA) in adults with Dravet syndrome whose seizures were not controlled by other medications. The goal was to see if the drug could cut monthly seizures by at least half. The trial was terminated early and enrolled only 7 participants instead of the planned 15, so results are limited.
