Major trial aims to find best feeding plan to protect tiniest babies

Summary
This large study aims to find the best feeding plan for very premature babies born before 29 weeks. It will compare using donor breast milk versus special formula when a mother's own milk is not enough, and test different ways of adding nutrients to breast milk. The goal is to reduce a severe gut disease called NEC, improve survival, and support better long-term growth and brain development.
