First seen Feb 20, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at children under 18 who have a tracheostomy (a tube in the windpipe to help breathing). Researchers want to find out how common feeding difficulties are in these children and whether those difficulties are linked to lower quality of life. The study will interview children and their parents using standard questionnaires. No new treatments are being tested—this is an observational study to better understand the challenges these children face.
