Summary
This study looked at how two different feeding methods affect the mental health of stroke patients who have trouble swallowing. 156 adults with ischemic stroke were randomly assigned to receive nutrition through either an intermittent tube or a standard nasogastric tube. Researchers measured anxiety, depression, and feelings of social isolation to see if one method was better for emotional well-being.
