Study tests if new feeding method helps brain injury patients recover faster

NCT ID NCT06328985

Summary

This study tested two different ways to feed patients with severe brain injuries who have a breathing tube. Researchers compared a newer mouth-to-esophagus tube method against the standard nose-to-stomach tube to see which one led to better nutrition, fewer complications, and faster recovery of consciousness. The goal was to find the safest and most effective feeding approach to support patient healing.
