Summary
This study is testing whether a fecal microbiota transplant (FMT) can help clear dangerous, antibiotic-resistant bacteria from a patient's gut. Researchers will compare the transplant plus standard antibiotic therapy to antibiotics alone in 150 hospitalized adults. The goal is to see if adding the transplant is more effective at getting rid of these hard-to-treat infections.
