First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 02, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at why fecal transplants succeed or fail in treating recurrent C. diff, ulcerative colitis, and metabolic syndrome. Researchers will track gut bacteria, viruses, fungi, immune cells, and metabolites in 90 adults over time. The goal is to find patterns that predict whether the donor microbes will settle in and improve health.
