First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looks at how fecal transplants change the gut microbiome in people with recurrent C. diff infection, ulcerative colitis, or metabolic syndrome. Researchers will analyze stool and blood samples to understand why some people respond better than others. No new treatment is given; the goal is to learn what makes the transplant work. About 90 adults will take part.
