Poop pills tested to fight deadly pancreatic cancer

Summary
This early safety study is testing whether transplanting healthy gut bacteria from donor stool can help control pancreatic cancer. It involves 10 patients with pancreatic cancer who are scheduled for surgery. Patients receive the transplant via colonoscopy and then take weekly capsules to see if changing their gut microbes is safe and might affect their cancer.
