Poop pills to the rescue? trial tests fecal transplants for cancer treatment side effects

NCT ID NCT06218602

Summary

This study is testing if a fecal microbiota transplant (FMT) can help treat gut-related side effects caused by antibiotics in lymphoma patients receiving a powerful cell therapy called CAR-T. Researchers will give FMT to some participants and compare their side effects and treatment responses to others who receive the standard CAR-T therapy alone. The goal is to see if restoring healthy gut bacteria improves safety and outcomes for these patients.
