First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether frozen stool capsules (fecal transplants) can improve gut bacteria diversity in children aged 8-17 with ulcerative colitis who are in remission after steroids. The goal is to see if this helps maintain remission without needing lifelong medication changes. The study involves 26 participants and focuses on measuring changes in gut bacteria over 6 months.
