First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study provides intensive, play-based therapy for children with motor impairments from conditions like cerebral palsy, autism, or brain injury. The therapy involves up to 6 hours a day of guided practice to improve use of weaker arms and hands. Researchers will analyze data from 500 children to see how well this approach works. The goal is to help children gain new motor skills, not to cure the underlying condition.
