Scientists trace fat in rare body disorder

Summary
This study aims to understand how fat tissue works in people with a rare condition called familial partial lipodystrophy (FPLD), where the body stores fat abnormally. Researchers will compare small fat samples from 5 people with FPLD to samples from 5 healthy volunteers. The main goal is to see if they can successfully collect and analyze these fat samples to learn more about the disease.
