Scientists probe Fat's role in skin cancer spread
NCT ID NCT07293598
Summary
This study aims to understand if a specific interaction between fat cells and immune cells in a melanoma tumor can predict whether the cancer will spread. Researchers will analyze old tissue samples from past melanoma patients to look for this pattern. The goal is to gain knowledge that could one day help doctors better assess a patient's risk, not to provide treatment.
