Hidden fat could signal future health trouble

NCT ID NCT07504679

Summary

This study aims to understand how fat around the heart and belly is linked to body-wide inflammation and early signs of future health problems like diabetes, fatty liver disease, and heart disease. Researchers will enroll 400 adults without known heart or liver disease. Participants will undergo non-invasive scans and blood tests to measure fat thickness and inflammatory markers, helping identify early warning signs.
