First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests whether injecting a patient's own fat into a chronic wound can reduce pain better than standard care alone. About 62 adults with wounds lasting over 3 months will be randomly assigned to receive either fat grafting plus standard wound care or standard care alone. Pain levels will be tracked for 21 days after treatment.
