First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tests whether injecting a patient's own fat into long-lasting wounds can reduce pain better than standard wound care alone. Researchers will enroll 62 adults with chronic wounds (like diabetic or burn wounds) that have lasted over 3 months. Pain levels will be tracked for 21 days after treatment to see if fat grafting offers meaningful relief.
