Using your own fat to heal severe burns faster, with less scarring
NCT ID NCT06857448
Summary
This study is testing a new approach to treat severe burns and traumatic skin injuries. Researchers want to see if taking a patient's own fat tissue and immediately placing it into the wound, along with a skin graft, leads to better healing than traditional methods. The goal is to improve skin flexibility, reduce scarring, and lower the risk of infection for adults with these serious injuries.
