Using your own fat to heal severe burns and scars
NCT ID NCT06857435
Summary
This study is testing whether using a patient's own fat tissue during scar revision surgery can improve healing outcomes for people with severe burns or traumatic injuries. Researchers will compare this fat grafting approach to traditional skin grafting methods to see if it reduces scarring, improves skin flexibility, and lowers infection risk. The study aims to provide a simpler, one-step treatment option for difficult-to-treat scar contractures.
