Summary
This study aimed to see which of two popular dietary approaches—intermittent fasting or the Mediterranean diet—was more effective for improving body composition and nutrition in overweight and obese adults. One hundred participants were randomly assigned to follow one of these eating patterns. Researchers measured changes in body fat, weight, and nutrition knowledge to determine which approach worked better.
