Can fasting and exercise reverse metabolic syndrome?
NCT ID NCT07181655
Summary
This study is testing whether a program of intermittent fasting, calorie reduction, and increased physical activity can improve key health markers in adults with metabolic syndrome. Researchers in Saudi Arabia will compare this combined lifestyle program to standard hospital care in 140 participants. The goal is to see if these changes can better control blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, and weight.
