Summary
This study aims to understand how a short period of fasting changes the immune system in healthy people. Researchers at UC Davis will have a small group of healthy young men complete a 36-hour water-only fast. They will collect blood and other samples to see how fasting affects immune cells, with the goal of gathering basic knowledge for future research.
