Could skipping meals make chemo safer? small trial tests fasting for cancer patients
NCT ID NCT06645093
Summary
This study is exploring whether fasting for 24 hours before and after chemotherapy is safe, practical, and acceptable for people with Hodgkin or Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma. Researchers will compare 40 patients who fast to those who follow standard care, tracking side effects, weight changes, and quality of life. The main goal is to see if this approach is feasible enough to test in a larger future trial.
