First seen Feb 27, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether intermittent fasting or water-only fasting can improve how well chemotherapy works for breast cancer patients. 60 women will be split into four groups: chemo alone, or chemo plus one of three fasting plans. Researchers will check tumor markers, immune cells, inflammation, and quality of life to see if fasting helps the body fight cancer better and handle treatment side effects.
