NCT ID NCT07225816

First seen Nov 11, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at how long you need to fast and whether temporarily stopping GLP-1 medications (like liraglutide or semaglutide) affects how much food stays in your stomach. Researchers will measure stomach emptiness after a high-fat meal in 75 people with obesity who are already taking these drugs. The goal is to improve safety for procedures that require an empty stomach.
