10-Minute test could save babies from syphilis
NCT ID NCT07173764
Summary
This study aims to see if a new, faster syphilis test is as good as the standard, slower lab tests. It will involve 24 mothers in Uganda who tested positive for syphilis during pregnancy. The goal is to see if the quick test can give accurate results for both mothers and their babies during the same clinic visit, allowing for faster treatment.
