Race against time: new stroke protocol skips ER scans for faster treatment

Summary
This study is testing if a new, faster hospital process leads to better recovery for stroke patients. Instead of going for a CT or MRI scan first, patients go straight to the treatment room where a special scanner is used to diagnose and treat them without delay. Researchers will compare recovery at 90 days between this new fast-track method and the standard, slower process.
